Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has an extensive website(www.irs.gov) that offers information and many services to the entire array of taxpayers.


Check the status of your refund:

You will need your SSN, filing status, and expected refund amount.

Set up a payment to the IRS:
Payments | Internal Revenue Service (irs.gov)

Direct pay by withdrawal from your bank has no associated fee.  You will need the information from a recent tax return in order to verify your identity, as well as your bank account and routing numbers to set up the payment. Payments by credit or debit card are handled by third party providers and have a fee that is listed on the website when you choose that option.

There is a great deal of misinformation being propagated regarding the ERC.  The IRS has published a warning on its website because of the amount of fraud that is being committed by organizations that file ERC claims even though the businesses do not qualify.

Florida Department of Revenue (FDOR)

Florida does not have an individual income tax filing requirement.  However, most businesses will need to file income tax returns, employment tax returns or sales tax returns, depending on the nature of the business activities and the ownership structure of the business.  The department website provides many resources for businesses that operate in Florida to make sure they are fulfilling their Florida obligations.
